May be responsible for operation of specific equipment. May teach techniques to others, train, and supervise research staff. Positions are temporary appointments as a research trainee. The initial appointment is for one year, renewal expected if progress is satisfactory and funds are available. Appointments cannot exceed five years. The Department of Radiation Oncology within the Emory University School of Medicine has a postdoctoral position available to utilize multi-omics applications (targeted proteomics, CRISPR screening, single-cell transcriptomics) to characterize novel factors involved in the maintenance of genome stability in physiological and pathological contexts. The individual in this position will work in the Orthwein lab at the Winship Cancer Center. Preferred candidates will have a PhD in molecular/cellular biology, immunology, biochemistry or related discipline. Experience with proteomic and/or CRISPR approaches is needed.
