Marcus Autism Center, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine are recruiting a full-time child neurologist, neurodevelopmental pediatrician, or developmental-behavioral pediatrician. These positions are assigned teaching effort only. Preferential appointments are made for those with or pursuing a terminal degree, and those with teaching experience.   Responsibilities: - Provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation of student’s performance in various clinical, lab, and simulation settings; - Deliver education in collaboration with the Course Coordinator based on approved Course Syllabi, Course Objectives, Course Outlines, and Course Assignments; - Supervise and evaluate groups of students (usually 6-10 students in a group) in clinical, lab, and simulation settings; - Maintain ongoing communication with the Course Coordinator and attend all course team meetings; - Complete the NHWSN and clinical agency faculty orientation and comply with the mandatory requirements of the clinical site; - Coordinate with clinicians at the clinical site to deliver and evaluate clinical education; - Maintain a collaborative, positive relationship with clinical agency staff; - Schedule and meet with students on regular basis to provide academic feedback; - Maintain student records.   Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: A master’s degree in Nursing and eligibility for Georgia licensure (and advanced practice licensure, if appropriate), are required. Because Clinical Instructors interact with students in clinical areas, the School requires the completion of a criminal background investigation, drug screening, and several other compliance requirements prior to their first day of employment. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Addiction Psychiatrist to join its outpatient faculty. As part of a growing Addiction Psychiatry Service, this position will offer the opportunity to participate in clinical care and education. Support staff for scheduling and case management will be provided.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical outpatient addiction care, teaching and collaboration are priorities for this position. Research or related-funds can offset the percent time for any of these activities. All faculty are encouraged to supervise residents and fellows. Proportional call is an expected clinical responsibility with cross coverage availability for vacations and conferences. Office space will be provided at the newly built Emory Brain Health Center, which includes on-site parking, as well as lab and urine drug screen testing. The position also allows for CME time with monetary allowance, relocation, and an advantageous retirement plan. QUALIFICATIONS The rank of the appointment is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicants. Applicants should hold an unrestricted license for the state of Georgia and be board certified in Psychiatry. The candidate must be board eligible in Addiction Psychiatry.
