The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking an ABR-certified/eligible radiologist to join a thriving, expanding Division of Emergency Radiology. The Division provides emergent consultation and interpretation at the state’s largest Level 1 trauma center, two urban teaching hospitals, two community hospitals and teleradiology sites. Applicant Requirements
The department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking applicants for a fellowship position in Structural Heart, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement. Applicants must have successfully completed a cardiac surgery residency program, been involved in research during their residency, and have catheter experience via vascular surgery or cardiology rotations. Applicants who did not complete their residency in the United States must also have passed the USMLE I, II, and III exams and have an H-1B VISA. Applicants must submit job applications using the Emory Careers Website. This is a non-ACGME fellowship position.
Objectives
By completion of the program, fellows should be able to conduct the preoperative evaluation of transcatheter aortic and mitral valve patients, which includes compiling slides for every preoperative patient and presenting national clinical trial patients on adjudication calls. Fellows will learn to use and manipulate 3mensio imaging software for CT scan reconstruction and TAVR planning, demonstrate efficiency with percutaneous techniques such as mitra-clip, and become familiar with newly emerging tricuspid and mitral valve devices.
Fellows will be expected to perform TAVR procedures as the primary operator, and display facility with such alternative access approaches as direct aortic, transapical, subclavian, transcaval, and transcarotid sites. They will also participate in thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) procedures performed by staff cardiac and vascular surgeons.
Fellows will develop and demonstrate team leadership skills while collaborating with research staff and allied TAVR program personnel. Fellows will become comfortable with the the structural heart team's organization, interaction of disciplines, and function.
Fellows will contribute to academic presentations at morbidity and mortality conferences and research conferences for the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Clinical Responsibilities
Fellows participate in the care of inpatients, both on the ward and in the intensive care unit, and will be involved in outpatient clinic preoperative and follow-up care. Fellows assist on open cardiac surgery cases at least one-to-two days per week.

The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking both new graduates and experienced physicians committed to an academic career in general obstetrics and gynecology. Responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents, participation in the Obstetric Rapid Response Team, inpatient and outpatient obstetrics and gynecologic surgery. The Department of Gynecology & Obstetrics at Emory University is currently recruiting for two Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists. Established more than 25 years ago, the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division was one of the first specialty units in the country. Today it is part of the state-of-the-art Emory Regional Perinatal Center, the largest of only six regional high-risk infant care centers in the south. Opportunities in MFM exist at Emory University Hospital Midtown, a 511 bed institution that performs over 4000 deliveries per year and at Grady Memorial Hospital, a 953 bed institution that performs over 3000 deliveries per year with a Level III NICU and a Regional Perinatal Center. In addition to providing outstanding patient care and leadership for the Women’s Health Service Line at Emory University Hospital Midtown and providing clinical care in the Emory Regional Perinatal Center, faculty of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division are responsible for teaching fellows in our ABOG approved program, residents and medical students, and participating in research and scholarship.
