Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Director and Clinical Coordinator is responsible for evaluating and assuring clinical education effectiveness. This clinical coordinator position will have teaching responsibilities and oversee all clinical aspects of the program in collaboration with the Program Director, including the development of relationships with clinical partners to provide excellence in cardiovascular perfusion education opportunities. This individual is in regular contact with clinical affiliates and oversees scheduling and monitoring of clinical activity requirements of the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Demonstrates proficiency in the use of instructional strategies and techniques and expertise in perfusion science based on best practices and evidence. Supports the mission and values of the School of Nursing and Emory University.
