Emory University’s Department of Vascular Surgery seeks a full-time board eligible/board certified Vascular Surgeon at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a robust team. An appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor is anticipated, depending upon the candidate’s qualifications.
Summary of Duties:
The position is for the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital. This individual would have direct oversight of all clinical, educational, quality, and research operations for vascular disease on the Grady campus. They would be responsible for the oversight and development of our vascular team, including faculty partners, APPs, vascular lab technicians, and trainees rotating on the GMH vascular service. Qualified individuals would have a history of leadership experience, ideally in a similar healthcare environment.
Board certified/eligible in Vascular Surgery
Vascular surgery fellowship or integrated residency
A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
