Description

Emory University Student Health Services and the Departments of Family and Preventive Medicine and General Internal Medicine seek candidates for the position of a Clinical Provider with additional duties of Health Team Physician (EUSHS).  This position is 50% Student Health (Outpatient Clinical Care) and 50% dedicated to Athletics.

 

Job Description:

A team physician shall be designated for all or each of an institution's intercollegiate teams and shall be authorized to oversee the medical services for injuries and illnesses incidental to a student-athlete's participation in intercollegiate athletics.

Head Team Physician is ultimately responsible for the coordination of medical care for all student-athletes under current best practice and the rules and regulations of the UAA and NCAA. The Head Team Physician has the ultimate authority for making medical decisions regarding the athletes’ participation in intercollegiate athletics at Emory University.
