Emory University and the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine announce the vacancy for Assistant Professor - School of Medicine in the PA Program.

 Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Engagement in teaching, scholarship, and service activities
  • Coordination, teaching and evaluation in the didactic year curriculum.
  • Student advisement
  • Continued faculty development
  • Coordination with and support of the clinical year
  • Assistance in the student admissions process
  • Participate in ongoing program evaluation and planning.
  • Assistance in meeting accreditation requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the program director.
  • May include part-time clinical work/service learning.

 

Qualifications - Required:   The successful applicant will have:

  • A Master’s degree or higher
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • Current GA license or eligible for GA license
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
  • Clinical preceptor experience
  • Faculty experience preferably in PA education
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Interest in the program mission
