Job Description:
The laboratory of Hicham Drissi in the Department of Orthopaedics at Emory University is seeking an outstanding post-doctoral fellow to work on a NIH-funded project focused on intervertebral disc biology and disease. Our laboratory has a strong track record in skeletal development, homeostasis and repair studies using genetic models, stem cells as well as cell and molecular biology techniques. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in cell and molecular biology or related fields. Individuals with a solid background in intervertebral disc biology and disease using molecular genetics will be given priority. Candidates should possess outstanding communication and organizational skills and have a strong publication record.
