Physician members in Hematology are involved in patient care, teaching, & research. Location & time devoted to these activities varies depending on the context of each appointment and is subject to reasonable change. Physicians in Hematology collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment. They enroll patients to clinical trials & publish research, contributing articles in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at meetings such as ASH & AACR. As educators they lecture & serve as preceptors for trainees. They report to the Director of the Division of Hematology. Qualified applicants must be Board Certified or Board eligible in Hem/Onc and eligible for GA licensure. Applicants will show evidence of academic scholarship and strong clinical background.
