Visiting Assistant Professor – Mathematics

 

Located 36 miles east of Atlanta on Emory’s original campus in Oxford, Georgia, Oxford College invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics positions beginning August 2020, with possible renewal up to two years.

 

The successful candidates will teach courses in the introductory calculus track and mid-level courses for mathematics and science majors. The teaching load will be three courses per semester. The position offers opportunities for inquiry-based teaching and access to a variety of teaching resources.

 

Qualifications:
Required—A PhD in a mathematical science at the time of appointment and demonstrated effectiveness in teaching are required.
Preferred—Previous experience teaching calculus at the college level is desirable.
