The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, invites applications for a Tenured Associate Professor of Surgery.
The candidate will hold a PhD, be melanoma focused with a progressive career of NIH and society funding related to T cells in tumor immunity. They should have a minimum of 3-4 years of independent extramural funding. Candidate wil teach PhD students and host surgical trainees in basic science lab. They will also collaborate with Winship and surgery immunology researchers. They will be expected to apply for T32 funding in the first 2 years.
The minimum qualification is a doctoral degree and experience in an area relevant to projects and goals of ongoing melanoma focused research in the deopartment.
