The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Children’s) and Emory University School of Medicine is recruiting a pediatric cardiac intensivist to join the program in Atlanta.


The position will be a clinical job, with work taking place in the cardiac intensive care unit at Children’s. This will involve the treatment of the medical and surgical patients in the cardiac ICU with management of transfers from referring institutions, assessment and management of patients admitted to the cardiac ICU, communication with the surgical and consult service as needed, performing of procedures in the care of the admitted patient.


Participation and support of research efforts is encouraged; however, the position does not require a specific activity level of research, number of publications, or grants. Teaching is expected to be performed on a regular basis in the CICU and other areas of clinical work. This will include bedside teaching in addition to didactic lectures.


Other clinical work will be assigned as needed for the service line and may include consult service.
