The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified (or in the process of certification) plastic surgeon to join its faculty at rank to be determined. The applicant should have a strong desire to develop an academic career in plastic surgery including clinical research and interest in microsurgery with additional training being a plus. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and training.
The minimum qualifications for medical faculty are a doctoral degree from an accredited school, successful completion of an accredited residency program, and Board certification or eligibility, if applicable, in the area of specialization. Faculty rank will depend on training, experience and professional achievement. Georgia medical licensure, D.E.A. registration, and malpractice insurance coverage must be obtainable. The candidate must be able to demonstrate legal status permitting him/her to work under applicable United States immigration laws.
