Director of Neuroradiology, Emory University Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences of the Emory University School of Medicine seeks a Director for the Division of Neuroradiology. Ideal candidates should be leaders in Neuroradiology and have the requisite operational and leadership experience to successfully guide the division. Candidates should have demonstrated success in scholarship, clinical innovation and/or education, and be capable of fostering faculty development.

The Emory University Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is comprised of state-of-the-art resources across 6 hospitals and multiple outpatient sites with a large subspecialized clinical and research faculty. The Division of Neuroradiology consists of 16 clinical faculty who provide services across the spectrum of neuroimaging, with dedicated subspecialists in head and neck imaging, functional imaging, and pediatric neuroradiology. Innovative clinic-embedded reading rooms allow improved interactions with patients and collaboration with clinicians in neurology, neurosurgery and otolaryngology subspecialties. Faculty interpret CT and MRI and perform a variety of procedures including myelograms, lumbar punctures, and head and neck biopsies. Diagnostic cerebral angiography and endovascular interventions are performed by a separate interventional neuroradiology division. The Division of Neuroradiology supports a premier neuroradiology fellowship program with 8 clinical fellows annually and is integral to the success and education of Emory’s highly-ranked diagnostic radiology residency.

The successful applicant (MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) should be ABR board-certified. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates should submit a CV and cover letter describing relevant background and interest in the position.
