Proposed Academic Appointment : Assistant Professor

 

Primary Role & FTE Percentage(s) Position: cFTE 1.0

Primary site at Emory University Hospital (EUH) with credentials at Emory University
Hospital Midtown (EUHM) and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital (ESJH)

 

Clinical Service Expectations and Administrative Role:
Clinical duties with the ACHD program:
• 9 clinical sessions per week with effort divided among:
1. Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative service at EUH
2. Interpretation of Echocardiograms for ACHD
3. Full participation in the ACHD service on call rotation at EUH
• 1 session per week for administrative activities
*Clinical duties are subject to change at the discretion of Emory Heart & Vascular Executive
Director as dictated by operational and strategic needs of the service line.

Teaching Expectations:

 

Note, in keeping with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment,
Promotion and Tenure, upon joining Emory you would be expected to participate in
teaching, which may include occasional lectures, small group and bedside teaching,
preceptorship, and mentorship. In addition, you will engage in other scholarly or academic activities.

 

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
