The Department of Surgery, Division of General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at Emory University is looking for a well-trained clinical surgeon interested in joining our active and growing Acute and Critical Care Surgery Service with expertise in complex abdominal surgery and value-based care research. Candidates must be ACS Board eligible or certified, with the training to qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. In addition to clinical duties, the incumbent will teach medical students and general surgery residents. Familiarity with laparoscopic methods and interest in clinical research are a plus. Experience in critical care and critical care fellowship preferred.
• Board Certified General Surgeon
• Successful completion of a 2 year general surgery fellowship in a nationally recognized program
• A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
• A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
