The initial appointment will be for one year (possibly renewable for up to three years). Teaching responsibilities include 3 courses per semester, and will include a course in the candidate's AOS, a course in Emory's 3-course history of Philosophy sequence, and courses at the introductory level.

-PhD in Philosophy by time of appointment, with a specialization in either Asian, Africana, or Latin American philosophy. In addition to teaching courses for first- and second-year students in their area of specialization, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, and the ability to teach either introductory Ethics or Logic as well as a course in Emorys history of philosophy sequence.
