Description

Clinical Service duties
• 9 clinical sessions per week with effort divided among:
o Clinical session of outpatient clinic at EUHM and Spivey Station
o Participation in the Vascular Surgery on call rotation at EUHM
• 1 session per week for administrative activities
• Serve as a surgeon in the Division of Vascular Surgery within the Department of Surgery with an active inpatient and outpatient practice.
• Expectation of meeting/exceeding established departmental clinical goals.
• Call coverage responsibility with the section at EUHM. As business needs arise, other Emory Healthcare locations may be added to the group’s responsibilities.

 

Teaching Expectations
In keeping with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure, you will be expected to participate in teaching, which may include occasional lectures, small group and bedside teaching, preceptorship, and mentorship.


Scholarship/Research Expectations
In keeping with the School of Medicine Guidelines for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure, you are expected to participate in scholarship, which may include authorship of manuscripts, participation in research studies, abstract presentations, professional blogs, and other scholarly activities

 

NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
