Description

Emory University School of Law seeks to fill a tenure-track position in disciplines related to civil litigation, including civil procedure, complex litigation, evidence, conflict of laws, and others focused on civil litigation. The position is open to lateral candidates at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank who have at least two years of experience in a tenure track position.  Candidates must have a J.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree, and a distinguished academic record. Candidates should have a strong track record and/or show outstanding promise in research in fields related to civil litigation. For candidates meeting the law school’s standards for scholarly excellence and the demonstrated ability to teach civil litigation courses, the interest in teaching first-year Civil Procedure will be an additional positive factor.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
