Job Description:

  • The Emory School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist for its multi-center breast imaging program.
  • At each center, collegial interdisciplinary patient care creates an environment of clinical, research, and teaching excellence.
  • All breast imaging modalities including digital tomosynthesis are available within the Emory system, and image-guided procedures under tomo, stereo, ultrasound, and MRI guidance are performed daily.
  • Thus, expertise in all facets of breast imaging including breast interventional procedures, 2D and digital tomosynthesis interpretation, MRI interpretation and procedures, and breast ultrasound is required.
  • A commitment to teaching is also required as Emory has one of the largest and top rated breast imaging fellowship and residency training programs in the country.
  • Research opportunities are available and supported. Additionally, each breast center site is staffed by a dedicated nurse navigator and technologist navigator.
  • Working in fully supported and staffed Emory breast imaging centers, our 22 current dedicated breast imaging faculty are collegial, innovative, and collaborative, creating an ideal and thriving academic work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
  • Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.
