Description

As an Assistant Professor, you would provide 100% clinical effort as a practicing member of the Orthopaedics clinical services group, providing the full scope of spine care and non surgical procedures for patients.

Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to:

  • Managing the musculoskeletal non operative patient care needs, with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Providing excellent patient management in the outpatient and inpatient setting.
  • Participating in periodic neurosurgery or spine call coverage practice activities as is the case with similarly situated faculty members.
  • Participating in the teaching of residents, fellows, and other healthcare providers.
  • Contributing to the research mission by conducting research within your chosen sub-specialty area and acting as Director of the Whitesides Spine Research Laboratory.

Practice locations will be MSK and Decatur.
