The Emory Clinic is seeking a clinical psychiatrist to join its adult outpatient psychiatry team. Our clinicians, educators and researchers provide high quality care in the innovative environment of the Emory Brain Health Center. The qualified candidate will serve as a full-time attending divding their time between the adult outpatient program of Emory Clinic and the intensive outpatient program located at Emory Decatur Hospital. These programs primarily treat patients with mood and anxiety disorders. In addition to providing excellent clinical care, the candidate will contribute to the development of evidence-based and specialty treatment programs, participate in the education of Emory Psychiatry residents, and support the administrative processes of the department. There are opportunities to participate in research in the clinic as well as quality improvement initiatives.
This full time position provides approximately one full day per week without direct patient care responsibilities to allow the attending to address administration and academic interests. As a member of the Department of Psychiatry Faculty, the attending will be responsible for sharing on-call coverage of the inpatient services at Emory Decatur Hospital and telephonic support of other behavioral health specialists at Emory.
This is a position of open academic rank. Compensation will be commensurate with faculty rank and experience and includes an attractive benefits package.
-Completion of MD/DO degree, psychiatry residency and a current GA medical license or license eligible in the state of Georgia.
