Description

The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is seeking a full-time faculty to teach baccalaureate level human anatomy series lecture and lab and microbiology didactic and lab for our pre-nursing and other students who are required to take these courses as a prerequisite for entry into nursing or other healthcare-related majors. The position will begin the Fall semester 2025 and will be a full-time 9 month position.  This position involves face to face instruction, consequently the individual who is hired for the position must reside in the Atlanta, GA area by the time the semester starts in late August 2025. We are seeking applications from health sciences educators who hold a graduate degree in the field of biology or related discipline from an accredited university or college. A terminal degree (PhD, EdD) is preferred, but not required. In order to be appointed as ranked faculty (Assistant Clinical Professor or higher); individuals must have a doctorate and peer-reviewed publications. Individuals who do not have earned doctorates are hired as instructors. Priority will be given to individuals with teaching experience. Appointments and rank will be determined based on academic credentials and experience.
