Assignment of duties within the Emory HV CTEPH and PAH Program to include
1) 8 sessions per week of clinical effort divided between:
• Staffing the outpatient clinic and the inpatient consultative service
• Interpreting echocardiograms and cardiac imaging studies
• Performing invasive cardiopulmonary exercise testing in the cardiac
catheterization laboratory
• 4 one-week rotations in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
• Full participation in the CTEPH/PAH on-call rotation
2) 2 sessions per week for administrative activity
Programmatic Development
a. Build a multi-disciplinary CTEPH and PAH Program within Emory HV
a. Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative service
b. Diagnostic testing and care-plan design and implementation
c. Surgical and invasive cardiac procedural treatment
b. Recruit additional faculty and train Nurse Coordinators to support the
growth of the CTEPH/PAH program
