Description

The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is committed to attracting diverse world-class faculty to advance the School’s mission to educate visionary nurse leaders and scholars, generate and apply knowledge, and transform nursing, health, and systems of health care within the local and global community. We are seeking applications for full-time clinical track faculty to teach mental health nursing in our pre-licensure and post-licensure programs. The successful candidate(s) will have a strong track record of teaching mental health nursing within pre-licensure baccalaureate or MN entry courses and/or post-licensure psychiatric mental health NP programs. Appointments may be made at the ranks of Senior Clinical Instructor, Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Full Clinical Professor, commensurate with experience and scholarship. Psychiatric mental health NP APRN certification is required to teach in our post-licensure psych mental health NP program specialty courses.  

 

Qualifications:  Individuals must have doctoral preparation (DNP, PhD, EdD or equivalent). Teaching experience and expertise in psychiatric/mental health nursing. Candidates must hold or be eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
