Emory University and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the PA Program. This is an academic position requiring teaching responsibilities in addition to part-time clinical work.
Responsibilities for this position include:
• Engagement in teaching, scholarship, and service activities.
• Coordination, teaching, and evaluation in the didactic year curriculum.
• Student advisement
• Coordination with and support of the clinical year.
• Assistance in the student admissions process.
• Participate in ongoing program evaluation and planning.
• Assistance in meeting accreditation requirements.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the program director.
• Part-time clinical work/service learning
Qualifications Required:
• A Master’s degree or higher
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current GA license or eligible for GA license
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Faculty experience preferably in PA education
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
