Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Division of Abdominal Imaging seeks a fellowship-trained abdominal radiologist. Divisional duties may include MR, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. The Abdominal Imaging Division is a diagnostic radiology practice and does not perform image-guided invasive procedures.
Faculty are involved in the teaching of radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows. The Department is home to a large diagnostic radiology residency training program (approximately 64 residents) and approximately 6 abdominal imaging fellows per year.
Our abdominal imaging division is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for the 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System. Come grow with us!
The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to clinical service and teaching excellence. Research interests are encouraged. Appointment may be at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level depending on experience.
State-of-the-art clinical equipment is present across the enterprise. Extensive research facilities including dedicated research magnets and a PET-MR are available. The department has a strong commitment to faculty development and academic advancement.
