Emory Healthcare and the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, GA are recruiting a general oncologist to join our growing community practice at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology seeks candidates with M.D. or equivalent degrees who will provide general hematologic and oncologic care as well as collaborate successfully across sub-specialty disciplines to provide the high-quality care for which the Winship Cancer Institute and Emory Healthcare are known. Candidates for this position have the opportunity to sub-specialize in one or more hematologic or oncologic disease groups. Applicants must be board-eligible/certified in hematology and oncology and eligible for licensure in Georgia. Those who have recently completed a hematology-oncology fellowship are encouraged to apply, as well as those more experienced.
Clinical responsibilities (full-time) include outpatient consultation and treatment, long-term management, as well as inpatient consultation at the affiliated hospitals. Other activities include community service, education, and support for clinical research.
