Description

Emory University's Department of Pediatrics and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta are seeking an outstanding Pediatric Sleep Medicine physician to join the Division of Pulmonary, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, and Sleep as a clinician educator.

 

The focus for this position will be teaching, clinical service, and quality improvement. Candidates will have the opportunity to join an expanding and dynamic faculty located in a new pediatric clinic building. In addition, the Division includes research faculty with a variety of expertise but with a focus on CF, asthma, and other airway diseases and the candidate will have ample opportunity to interact with these faculty.

 

The Division runs a busy and diverse clinical service with outstanding faculty and a wide spectrum of clinical activities. Because the Division is combined including sleep medicine and pulmonology, there are ample opportunities for those interested in caring for patients requiring technology support. The Division has accredited fellowship programs in pediatric pulmonology, allergy/immunology, and sleep medicine. Emory’s Department of Pediatrics has a nationally recognized pediatric residency training program.

 

Candidates who are board-eligible or certified in Sleep Medicine with an interest in teaching, quality improvement, and long-term clinical care of the pediatric sleep medicine patient are encouraged to apply. Applicants with dual certification in Sleep Medicine and Pediatric Pulmonology are encouraged to apply.
