Description

As a Senior Associate in the Department of Orthopaedics, you will be providing 100% of your effort in direct clinical patient care and clinical academic responsibilities. Expectations for this role include, but are not limited to, those outlined below:

 Participating in a comprehensive range of training related to your specialty under the direction of a designated Orthopaedic Attending. These activities may take place inpatient, and outpatient services at Emory University Orthopaedics locations and include:

  • Assimilate skills in evaluation and management of all disease related disorders.
  • Perform full spectrum surgical and/or non-surgical methods; including minimally invasive techniques as necessary.
  • Provide independent patient management.
  • Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as related to your specialty:
  • Engage and gain exposure with designated orthopaedic
  • Participate in the development and completion of two clinical or translational research projects specific to your specialty and suitable for publication.
  • Participate in the clinical education, training, and development of residents and medical students through on-site clinical rotation activities and campus-related conferences.
  • Demonstrate constant professionalism with staff, residents, fellows, and attendings in clinic, operating room, and
  • Provide at least one Grand Rounds
  • Lead journal
  • Participate in appropriate conferences on a regular
  • Keep an active case log for quarterly submission to the Program
