The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Emory University School of Medicine, is accepting applications for faculty positions at all ranks.   Salary commensurate with experience and education.  The primary responsibilities of this position will include patient care duties at Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital-Midtown, and/or the Atlanta VA Medical Center, and the supervision and formal teaching of residents and medical students, including lectures as assigned.  The Division of Infectious Diseases has an active three-year fellowship program and the supervision/evaluation of Infectious Diseases fellows in clinics and on wards will also be required.  Candidates should have interest in developing active independent research programs in the area of infectious diseases. 

 

Requirements: Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases by the date of hire.  Candidates must obtain medical licensure for the State of Georgia and DEA certificates at the date of hire.  Candidates must provide three letters of reference. 

 

Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of three years of Internal Medicine residency training in an ACGME-accredited program. Satisfactory completion of at least two years of Infectious Diseases fellowship training at the date of hire.
